5 Months and counting!!!

Hello Blog world! Im late as usual but July 20, 2010 marks my 5th month on this here loc journey. again hasnt much changed. I still do my hair once a month ans spray my hair everyday with oil and water mixx. Wish I could disscuss more but im a lil under the weather :( so until next time bloggers! Heres my crazy pic because I havent done my hair over yet lmao

Wow!!! This post has been sitting her FOREVER! lol Hey y'all! I'm back! as the title says I'm into my 4th month whoo hooo! (really 4 and a half months now) but anywho...ummm yea!! I'm excited!!!! I got a lil hangtime and they can shake!!! I just cant stop turning my head to feel the ones on my ears and back of my neck. The growth is definitely coming along. I re twisted myself because I have been super BROKE! ugh lol bills bills and even more bills have taken my extra money. but that's fine because hair is what I do. I'm still re twisting once a month, and spray my hair with oil and water mix in the morning. Not too much new things going besides the growth. So here's the pics!

Hey yall!!! So im like a week late but better late than never right? lol My loc babies made 3months on may 20th!!! Yay! not that exciting same old same old...not much has chnaged from month 2 and now. i guess a little more length. Im trying not to retwist as much..(going on a month as we speak) Im also very fond of wearing headbands but I think I need to lay off of that as well becuase I heard it can thin my hair out and we dont want that. Also the lint bunnies are tryna attack my babies so I think its bout time I try that ACV rinse out. Welp until next time blog world!!! By the way heres a pic!

OMG!

Hey yall! Happy Thursday! So I had to blog about my day so far and well......I can say I'm BLESSED to have been able to see this day but it was on a rough start. For some reason I went to sleep in a rut, and woke up the same way! Grrrr! Then the lord said, "Calm down child!" lol I called Tmobile because my phone is a piece of crap ever since i dropped it and guess what? I got approved for a contract AND got a FREE phone! I like free! lol So my day started getting better, Then I started reading blogs and whatnot surfing the web for hair tips and found out that i have the dreaded "Hand in hair syndrome" Ugh! I am ALWAYS messing with my baby locs and from what i have read its not that good. Smh I need to buckle down and really get a grip on this disease! ha ha I'm sooooo serious though. I am also trying to get a hair regime situated for myself, I haven't found any products that im in LOVE with yet and I feel like I really need to because it will make me feel alot better about the health of my babies. Welp in done whinnin yall. Until next time! Someone plz call 911!!! (in my Wyclef voice lol)

LOCspiration!!!

Hey yall! I almost forgot to do my LOCspiration for the month. Drum roll plz? lol LEDISI!!! Whoooo hoooo! For those of you who don't know she's a singer. you can check out her official website at http://www.ledisi.com/ But how can you NOT be in love with her hair? Great color and crazy funky style! Cant wait til I too can achieve this style. I like crazy hair do's and taking risks, it makes hair that much more exciting!

2 Months and Counting Continued....

Happy Sunday Bloogers! I just felt the need to blog this morning. So I'm adding on to my last post. So my locs are two months now and I gave some pictures before I did a retwist, so I'm just doing a quick post after my retwist so you can really start to see the progress. Every month and after every retwist I see so much growth and change in my hair and I LOVE IT! I'm really itching for some color tho but I know I need to wait. For this retwist I decided to try the thaila wajjid product again, (maybe the first time was a fluke lol) and they came out really good. The only problem I have had is that one of my babies in the back (and you see me holding one in the picture? that's the one I'm talking about) was filled with lint and it looked gross. I really tried to leave it alone but I just couldn't get over the fact that someone might be behind me looking at that dirty little loc so I picked the lint out until it was gone and retwisted it. Horrible I know, Help me out ppl what can I do to make sure this wont keep happening? Because now I watch my locs like a hawk being sure that the lint bunnies stop attacking my babies lol! Welp I'm done with my rambling. Hit me up with ya comments! Toodles!

2 Months and Counting

Hey Bloggerz! I'm a couple days late but my babies made 2 months of the 20th! Yay! I'm so excited because I'm really starting to see the change in my hair. I'm getting more and more budding everyday which is so COOL! lol Like forreal, I think that is so interesting how your hair can transform. I have been cutting back on oiling my hair everyday, because I don't wanna clog more pores and I still retwist every three weeks. I started using the Dr. Miracles temple and nape balm so I can nurse the little edges I have to be healthy and strong (damn micros..never again!) I haven't seen any results yet of course because I just started using it, but if anyone has any opinions on this product I'm all ears! I think that's bout it guys just wanted to get a quick update out there before I start my crazy day, here's pics of the babies...time for my retwist this weekend YES! I LOVE to get my babies pampered. Happy Thursday yall!

Pink Suga Babe!

Hey bloggers! Hope everyone is having a happy Blessed Thursday! I had to do a review on this wonderful product I got from the World Natural Hair Show that was here in ATL last weekend. The show was sooo BOMB! Omg I was in Natural Heaven! Anywho... I got this Pink Sugar whipped Shea Butter. When I say its BOMB I mean BOMB!!! Its whipped so its really smooth and has this really great smell too. Its just like regular shea butter but whipped which makes it easier to put on if you ask me. Of course its a Body butter, conditioner, and hair sheen (I'm def gonna try it on my hair and let y'all know how I like it). And what y'all all have been waitin for! Help!!!

Hello All!!! Happy Thursday! So today I have some random ranting that I have to get off my chest! ugh! So my hair, I LOVE my natural hair and my baby locs, but recently I tried to redo my locs and they were so neat and pretty (photographed on the left) and now they look like crap! I have tied them up and everything! sheesh, I used ORS. I've tried Thailia Wajjid before too and I didn't really like it so maybe I need to give it another chance. I don't like the Jamaican Mango and Lime because its too greasy and I think I will have buildup issues that I do NOT want. So what should I do? Maybe someone can help me with some different products to use that is not heavy or greasy or slimy lol and that will actually hold my hair! Help me out yall!

Hey I'm back!!!! today I'm gonna talk about my locing process yay!!! I re-started February 20, 2010. ( I say restarted because I originally started January 1, 2010 with comb coils) Anywho, I went to a loctician who started them with two strand twist. So now they are about 1 month and a couple weeks old. I get my hair retwisted every 3 weeks. I have a little and i do mean VERY little budding going on, but hey at least they budding right? Im sooo excited :)))) I started my natural journey in October of 2009, and I did my big chop in November 2009 (I wasn't afraid to cut my hair at all) But enough of all that and on to thee pictures right? Well here are my babies!

OK OK! Ive been gone for a min. but AGAIN I'm back! I have plenty of updates. For starters I have starting locking Yay! started February 20, 2010.
